Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement

We are in the period of the 10 Days of Awe in preparation of the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:27-28). Let us turn our hearts in repentance towards God so that we may experience once again His mercy and times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19). We come on the basis of the atoning work of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, on Calvary. We give honor to Jesus Christ for the expiation of our sins and the salvation of our souls through the Day of Atonement. We also pray for Israel and all our Jewish friends across the world, that they may experience also the blessing of God.

Bind the Strongman of Witchcraft and Mob Violence

Rebuke the spirit of violence. We stand in the gap for our nation and the nations of the earth and petition the Lord to pour out His Spirit like never before, free us from darkness, heal our land, and release the next GREAT AWAKENING. We battle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places! (Ephesians 6:12)

Matthew 18:18-20 says, “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Lord, we put up a prayer shield over our families, the Church, our president, our law enforcement, and our nation. We bind the strongman of witchcraft that would instigate rioting, looting, mob violence, and unrest in our cities and in our nation. We bind the spirit of murder and violence. We welcome afresh the Spirit of Elijah, whom God sent to destroy the works of Jezebel, the symbol of witchcraft purposed to damage Israel and the worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We take authority over the plans of the enemy to sow division, discord, violence, and destruction. We loose God’s warring angel armies over our nation, and pray for God’s supernatural shalom to calm this storm. We loose God’s angelic hosts to protect the innocent caught in the crossfire. We ask for God’s rod of righteousness and justice to go out across our nation so that ancient divisions of pain, bigotry, and injustice will be healed. We prophesy that what the enemy meant for harm will become a time of great turnaround, healing, and restoration. We lift up the name of Jesus over our cities and declare the glory of the Lamb of God over our nation. We humble ourselves and cry out according to God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “Lord, heal our land!”

“Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered.” (Psalm 68:1)

We spread a prayer blanket over all the cities of America, and pray that peace will be restored. We pray that the mayors of these cities will have wisdom to combat the forces that have allowed violence to rise unchallenged in their jurisdiction. We pray divine protection for our nation, our cities, and our families, and cry out to the Lord God, the Captain of Angel Armies, to release His invisible armed forces, His awesome angelic cohorts to protect our law enforcement, protect our children, and protect all our public gatherings from violence and contagion. We give you thanks, Lord, for the divine assistance that scriptures promise us and welcome His angelic help in this hour.

We say, “Welcome Holy Spirit!” May a great wave of the Holy Spirit sweep across our nation, renewing the America Spirit and restoring us to worship the one true God. May this renewal bring healing to our inner cities and restoration of broken families. We plead the power of the blood of Jesus, and cry out to the Lord: “Give us victory over every evil power. Release revival glory across our nation!”

Isaiah 58:6, 8, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? …Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, “Here I am.”

Exodus 15:26, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what Is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

Psalm 91:9-11, “Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Matthew 10:1,8 “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”

Psalm 107:20, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

Psalm 118:17, “I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.”

Numbers 16:46-48, “So Moses said to Aaron, ‘Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.’ Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped.:”

Psalm 122:6-7, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they proper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.'”

Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Isaiah 62:6, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall [a]never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent.”

Psalm 102:13, “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come.”

Psalm 125:2, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.”
