Watch Focus: Palm Sunday - Honor His Triumphal Entry

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9

We come to the holiest of weeks and to Palm Sunday with honor and gratitude to Jesus our King. As Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, He was about to offer Himself as our Atoning Lamb of God. We honor His triumphal entry and recognize Him as the promised One. Jesus is the fulfillment of Passover. He is the King of Glory! Soon His precious blood would redeem us all as He cried from Calvary, “It is finished!” We look in awe at the glorious cross. We bow and worship our Lord Jesus. He took our sins, our sicknesses, and all our sorrows. We give thanks to the Lord for His salvation. He has redeemed us and our families. We usher in a new season of evangelism, healing, deliverance from demonic oppressions, and the lifting of curses. On this basis of the shed blood of the Lamb, we welcome waves of glory, grace, and refreshing from the presence of the Lord.

John 12:12-13, “The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: ‘Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel!’”

Galatians 3:13-14, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Isaiah 53:5, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

1 Corinthians 2:2, “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”

The Supreme Court

We pray for the Supreme Court as congress has voted in the first African-American female justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson. We pray for the all nine justices. May the future decisions of this court reflect a fear of the Lord and our Judeo-Christian foundations. May the Supreme Court honor the Constitution of the United States, have a heart of mercy for the unborn, and end abortions in this nation.

Daniel 7:26a, 27b, “But the court shall be seated . . . and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”

Isaiah 1:26, “I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”

2 Chronicles 19:5, 6, “Then he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, ‘Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.’”

Proverbs 22:28, “Do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have set.”
