Watch Focus 9/12/25    Turning Point—Restore us, O Lord God of hosts

Therefore, say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 1:3

On the eve of 9-11, outspoken witness for Christ, Charlie Kirk was assassinated as he hosted an outreach on a university campus calling the nation’s youth to turn back to God.

We pray for his family, his wife, and two children.

This follows the murder of Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, the shooting that killed two children, injured fifteen children and two adults, during opening school day mass at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.

We humble ourselves together with fasting and wait for the Lord until He have mercy on us, our families, our nation.

“Arise, cry out in the night,
At the beginning of the watches;
Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord.
Lift your hands toward Him
For the life of your young children,
Who faint… at the head of every street.” Lamentations 2:19

We pray for all who are in authority, in the church, in local and national government, executive, legislative, judicial, and their agencies.

Psalm 80:
Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,
You who lead Joseph like a flock;
You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!—
Stir up Your strength,
And come and save us!

Return, we beseech You, O God of hosts;
Look down from heaven and see,
And visit this vine
And the vineyard which Your right hand has planted,
And the branch that You made strong for Yourself.
It is burned with fire, cut down;
They perish at the rebuke of Your countenance.

Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand,
Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.
Then we will not turn back from You;
Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.

Restore us, O God;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!

“We know that something is wrong. America’s future is a series of choices. Our current state of slow motion national decline is a choice. I look at my daughter and that is my “Why.” Charlie Kirk

Psalm 132
A Song of Ascents.
Lord, remember David
And all his afflictions;
How he swore to the Lord,
And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
 “Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house,
Or go up to the comfort of my bed;
 I will not give sleep to my eyes
Or slumber to my eyelids,
Until I find a place for the Lord,
A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah;
We found it in the fields of the woods.
Let us go into His tabernacle;
Let us worship at His footstool.
Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place,
You and the ark of Your strength.
Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
And let Your saints shout for joy.
For Your servant David’s sake,
Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed.
The Lord has sworn in truth to David;
He will not turn from it:
“I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.
If your sons will keep My covenant
And My testimony which I shall teach them,
Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”
For the Lord has chosen Zion;
He has desired it for His dwelling place:
“This is My resting place forever;
Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
I will abundantly bless her provision;
I will satisfy her poor with bread.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation,
And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
There I will make the horn of David grow;
I will prepare a lamp for My Anointed.
His enemies I will clothe with shame,
But upon Himself His crown shall flourish.”
